CAPA Enterprise Edition operates over a secure private network environment using broadband technology. The technology has only recently become available and CAPA has utilised it to the maximum for delivering a better solution for pharmacy. Better intra-communications between pharmacists (of the same company) means better service and care for patients. The network comes with free Internet access and special links can allow pharmacists to search for information from central sources such as Martindale. Branches can message each other instantly and talk using special handsets or even video conference each other.

Within the CAPA Enterprise edition, all transactions generated in the branch are sent in real time to the Central Server where Head Office can view consolidated files. The CAPA network environment has been developed in such a way that provides resilience. If the network temporarily breaks, there is no loss of functionality or speed at the branch. As soon as connections are restored, the back log of data is simply transferred to the central server.

CAPA Professional Edition for companys with one pharmacy, still requires to be part of the network but data is handled locally. The network provides internet access and support from Fusion Health, and an easy upgrade to CAPA Enterprise Edition when required.
